Stock Exchange of Stuttgart announced its plans to develop and launch special infrastructure for digital assets. A platform for tokensales will be the first stage of this plan.

Börse Stuttgart develops a platform for initial coin offers and tokensales (ICOs). ICO projects will be able to conduct tokensales on this platform in accordance with "standardized and transparent processes."

This is one of the first steps towards creating a comprehensive infrastructure for digital assets, the exchange stressed. The company also expects to create a multifunctional trading platform for cryptocurrencies and custody services for the safe storage of cryptocurrency assets.

The exchange's goal is to create services that meet the needs of both retail and institutional investors.

According to Alexander Hoptner, CEO of Börse Stuttgart, the company plans to "closely cooperate" with financial regulators.

In April, the stock exchange reported that its fintech laboratory created an application for cryptocurrency trading Bison, which supports trades in bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin. Public launch of Bison is scheduled for September. Initially Bison will offer commission-free trades.

A new set of tools for working with cryptocurrency assets reflects the company's intention to promote the "digital transformation of financial markets and financial products," Hoptner added.

The Stuttgart Stock Exchange (Börse Stuttgart) is the second largest stock exchange in Germany after the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
