Integrity Chain launches the IC-STAMP service which allows to embed users' unique cryptographic fingerprints in the blockchain.

Integrity Chain’s IC-STAMP service can be used to confirm intellectual property ownership and seal private agreements. It also lets users prove the existence of a file at a specific date and time.

The co-founder of Integrity Chain believes that blockchain lacks broad adoption because of the high level of complexity associated with the technology. So, one of the project’s goals was to simplify its use.

Thus, the IC-STAMP service collects fingerprints of the users' private files and embeds them into the blockchain. Then users receive a certificate for their records by email. The certificate contains full details the user needs to establish an independent public confirmation of the documents’ integrity.

“If you can operate a browser and receive email, you are already an expert user,” says IC-STAMP's official website.

Integrity Chain is an Austin, TX start-up launched by the company “with the primary objectives of raw simplicity, usability and availability.”
