The market of bitcoin and altcoin ATM will be worth $144.5 million in 2023, growing every year at a CAGR of over 50%.

Within the period from 2018 to 2023, the cryptocurrency ATM market will grow by 54.7% per year. In five years, it will reach $144.5 million, according to the report titled “Crypto ATM Market – Global Forecast to 2023” of the research company MarketsandMarkets.

Currently, the number of bitcoin-ATMs in the world exceeds 3666. In July, this figure was 3500, and in May there were only 3000 crypto ATMs in the world. According to Coin ATM Radar, four crypto ATMs are installed daily on the planet. Last year, this market was worth approximately $6.8 million, and this year it grew to $16.3 million.

According to forecasts of MarketsandMarkets, the share of two-way ATM, allowing both buying and selling cryptocurrencies on one device, will grow at a higher rate than one-way ATMs. At the same time, unilateral ATMs currently occupy a dominant position in the market. Their share is 62.49%, while two-way ATMs account for only 37.51%.

North America will remain the largest market for cryptocurrency ATMs by 2023. To date, this region accounts for 73.07% of all bitcoin-ATMs in the world. The US is the leader, with 2081 ATMs located there. The second place is occupied by Canada with 563 crypto ATMs, and Austria is the third country by the number of crypto ATMs, with 193 vending machines installed.

The largest manufacturers of equipment are Genesis Coin and General Bytes. They account for 33% and 28% of the global market of crypto ATM production, respectively.
