Telegram will pay winners of smart contract developers contest up to $400,000. The competition will last until mid-October.

Telegram launched five contests for developers and designers with a total prize pool of over $1 million, according to the official Telegram channel of the messenger. The new contests are divided into five thematic blocks. One of it is focused on developers of smart contracts for the future TON blockchain platform. The prize fund for this competition will range from $200,000 to $400,000. The knowledge of C ++ / FunC programming languages are among obligatory requirements.

The competition for developers to create smart contracts for the blockchain platform starts on 24 September and will last until 15 October.

The TON blockchain platform is expected to be launched at the end of October 2019. Otherwise, investors who invested in the ICO platform in total about $1.7 billion will have the opportunity to claim back their investments.

In addition to the competition for developers of smart contracts, Telegram launched contests for designers to create animated stickers and color schemes, improve voice calls, create a web version of the messenger and clustering and ranking content algorithms.
