The Hong Kong-based crypto-exchange Binance has announced its decision to suspend the registration of new users. Earlier the registration of new accounts was suspended by Bitfinex and Bittrex.

Binance is another exchange to announce the suspension of new customers registration. The decision is due to increased demand from new users.

“Fellow Binancians, due to the overwhelming surge in popularity, Binance will have to temporarily disable new user registrations to allow for an infrastructure upgrade. We apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the official statement reads.

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, wrote in his twitter that the number of new users has been growing rapidly:

According to him, the priority for the company is to offer high-quality services to existing members.

Binance is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, with more than $8,9 billion of trading volume within the last 24 hours.

Earlier, registration of new accounts was suspended by other largest world crypto-exchanges such as Bittrex, Bitfinex, CEX.
