Brian Armstrong from Coinbase recalled that the cryptocurrency market suffered many ups and downs in the past and urged not to lose heart and not give in to emotions. According to him, the period of correction has its advantages.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted in his twitter a series of messages to new members of the exchange team, but his reflections can be addressed to all newcomers in the cryptocurrency market. He spoke about his attitude to the long period of correction on the market.

Armstrong noted that many participants of the cryptocurrency market are acting too emotionality being influenced by the crowd behavior.

"When there is hype, people are irrationally exuberant. When there is despair, people are irrationally pessimistic. Neither is true. Reality is always somewhere in the middle, more correlated with real usage (transactions per day) than the price."

According to Armstrong, the recession of the crypto market has its advantages. It allows to improve the market, to clean it from people who came to it in search of quick profit.

In particular, when the bitcoin price falls, it creates a solid foundation for further development, reminds to correct mistakes, and improve technology. Armstrong urged not to pay too much attention to the prices of cryptocurrencies.

"I want to encourage you all to ignore the price of crypto and the headlines which will inevitably start to come up. Our job is to rise above that, finding our own intrinsic source of motivation, to come in and do our best work, regardless of what other people think."

The head of Coinbase expressed his conviction that cryptocurrencies have a great future in the long term.
