Chainalysis, a developer of analytical tools for cryptocurrencies, announced the launch of a cryptocurrency portal for regulators and asset managers. Previously, the former US Under Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence joined the Chainalysis Advisory Board.

Cryptocurrency tracing company Chainalysis launched Market Intel portal to provide asset managers and regulators with intelligence on cryptocurrencies and crypto exchanges. Access to the portal is free of charge. The information on the site includes daily metrics on trading, supply and demand, cryptocurrency risks, inflow and outflow of assets on crypto-exchanges and movement of assets between regions.

"These actionable insights can equip investors and regulators to evaluate risks and opportunities in cryptocurrency more effectively, which will be crucial as cryptocurrency continues to become a more prominent investment vehicle."

According to Chainalysis, the information presented on the portal will help asset managers and regulators to invest intelligently and effectively control this space, based on an understanding of what is really happening in the cryptocurrency markets.

Earlier, the investment fund Fidelity Digital Assets conducted a survey of institutional investors and found that the lack of data to understand the state and growth of digital assets is one of the three most popular obstacles to investing in cryptocurrency, which were mentioned by institutions after high volatility and risks of price manipulation.

In early July, Chainalysis completed another round of financing, managing to raise $13 million from the venture capital firm Ribbit Capital and Ashton Kutcher's investment fund Sound Ventures. As part of the agreement with Ribbit, former Deputy Treasury Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Sigal Mandelker joined the Chainalysis advisory board.
