A San Francisco-based bitcoin wallet Snapcard teamed up with Alpha Payments Cloud to empower the users of the AlphaHub online merchant platform to integrate bitcoin.

The AlphaHub API provides payment solutions for online merchants. Alpha will now refer the interested users of the platform to Snapcard to find out more about bitcoin. Snapcard charges the users 0.5% per transaction.

“Alpha is known for its innovative initiatives in the payment space -- with this partnership, we’re looking forward to bringing a beautiful line of Bitcoin products to Alpha’s clients,” Snapcard CEO Michael Dunworth said.

Snapcard added a special page to their website that welcomes the Alpha merchants, tells them more about bitcoin and guides them through the setup process. The page also gives an overview of how a transaction works: a customer selects to pay with bitcoin, then a bitcoin invoice is generated and the merchant receives the payment immediately in bitcoin or on the next day in local currency.

“Snapcard has partnered with Alpha Payments Cloud to bring a full suite of easy-to-use tools for your business to start accepting Bitcoin payments,” the page reads.

Snapcard is a bitcoin startup that provides online tools for bitcoin integration for offline and online payments. The wallet works with 20 local currencies and 3 digital currencies including bitcoin, litecoin, and dogecoin. Earlier this month Snapcard partnered with Ifeelgoods, digital rewards platform.
