The 21 Inc computer with native hardware and software support for the bitcoin protocol can now be purchased on Amazon.com.

The computer is designed for buying digital goods and services with a stream of bitcoin mined by its 21 Bitcoin Chip, selling digital goods and services for bitcoin with the built-in 21 Micropayments Server and creating bitcoin-payable apps, services, and devices.

The device can be operated as a standalone machine or connected to any Mac, Windows, or Linux computer. It includes a command line interface, Python 3 library and a 128 GB SD card loaded with a full copy of blockchain.

“The 21 Bitcoin Computer is ideal for buying and selling digital goods and services. You can use it to create bitcoin-payable APIs, set up your own personal digital goods store, pay people to share your content online, or host online games of skill. For example, you can provide translation services for bitcoin, sell your photos online, pay people to share links to your product on social media, or host a game of skill in which your friends win real money,” says the description on the Amazon.

The machine was released by 21 Inc in September. Before that 21 Inc had been reputed as “a secretive bitcoin company” which refused to share information about its upcoming projects with anybody but investors, and managed to raise more than $116 million in funding as early as last March.
