The international transfers platform launches a new service. It is a messenger with the option of instant cryptocurrency transfers right through the chat box.

According to the company’s website, the service is easy to use: you only need to register with Bitwala. Before making a transfer, it is possible to chat like in any messenger discussing details of the payment. For example, you can explain why you delay the payment, or on the other hand, remind your friend, relative or colleague that he still owes you some money. The application also allows you to keep history of conversations, which is private and available only for users in the chat.

“The chat messenger is definitely my favorite addition to the new and improved Bitwala. It’s like Whatsapp for money, and I absolutely love it,” says Bitwala CEO Jörg von Minckwitz.

Users do not need to have a bank account or pass any background or solvency checks to make a bitcoin transfer to any part of the world. The service does not require any additional payment, only transaction fees, which is standard for Bitwalla: 0.5% of the sum.

Bitwala is a European cryptocurrency remittance startup. Apart from bitcoin, it conducts transfers and payments in ether, dash, litecoin and dogecoin. The minimum amount of transaction is €1. Its new services allow to pay bills, top-up bitcoin debit cards and make international payments. International transfers are carried out through SEPA and SWIFT payment systems. Every user can transfer up to €50,000 monthly.
