Chinese authorities released their second round of cryptocurrency rating, with EOS taking the first place and bitcoin stepping down to 17th.

China Electronic Information Industry Development (CCID) under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China published the second ranking of the most powerful cryptocurrencies. According to the rating, the first place was taken by the EOS project, which obtained the highest combined score of 161.5, ranking first on the list. Ethereum and NEO were located on the second and third places, respectively. Bitcoin dropped to the 17th line.


The main criteria for the assessment were three indicators: technology, application and innovation.

  1. Top 5 by technology: EOS, Steem, Ethereum, BitShares, Stellar
  2. Top 5 by application: NEO, Ethereum, Qtum, Stellar, Nebulas
  3. Top 5 by innovation: EOS, Bitcoin, Cardano, Ethereum, Litecoin

For the first time such rating was published in May. Then the first place went to Ethereum.

The next rating should appear in July.
