The Founding Board member of the Bitcoin Foundation has become a non-executive director of First Global Credit. There, he will coordinate communication with the bitcoin community.

First Global Credit is a company that offers investors products focused on digital currency. According to the company website, its aim is “to bridge the gap between bitcoins and the world of fiat currencies”.

Jon Matonis is one of the veteran experts on the bitcoin market. He had worked in Visa and Sumitomo bank, wrote about financial cryptography for Dow Jones and the London School of Economics, published articles at Forbes and American Banker. He was a founding board member of the Bitcoin Foundation and is an active Twitter user. Presently he has more than 20,000 followers and participates in all significant discussions on bitcoin.
